Fungal pathogen genome published 

One of the most important pathogens for human health, Scedosporium aurantiacum, has a new enemy: an Australian bioinformatic and medical collaboration. Alexie helped ANU researchers Asa PĂ©rez-Bercoff, Gavin Huttley, Westmead scientists Marc Ramsperger and Wieland Mayer and others to sequence and annotate (i.e. decypher) the genome of this pathogen.
